Faculty of Law DU: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, was established in the year of 1924. The Faculty of Law DU offers a total of 4 courses out of which 1 course is offered at undergraduate level, 2 courses are offered at postgraduate level and only 1 course is offered at doctoral level. The admissions to all the programmes are based on the marks scored by the student in the entrance exam. The Faculty of Law also offers scholarships and placement opportunities to students. The institute is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Faculty of Law Courses

The college offers a total of 4 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. L.L.B, L.L.M. and Ph.D are the courses offered by the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. The duration of UG course is 3 years whereas that of PG course lasts for 2 to 3 years. The duration of the Faculty of Law Ph.D course may last up to 6 years.

Faculty of Law  Admissions 

The college offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral  courses. Admissions to Faculty of Law DU courses are provided based on the marks scored by the student in the entrance examination((L.L.B./ L.L.M./ Ph.D entrance examination). Then, the counselling process will be done followed by documentation and fee payment. In order to get admission the student must meet Faculty of Law eligibility criteria.

Faculty of Law  Cutoff

The college will reveal the cutoff each year for fresh LLB, LLM and Ph.D admissions. The candidates must meet the minimum cutoff in order to apply for any course at the Faculty of Law DU. Then the student has to select the Faculty of Law DU as the preference college and attend the counselling process.

Faculty of Law Placements 

The college has a placement cell that acts as a link between the students and companies. The  Faculty of Law placement cell provides training programmes to the students that will help the students understand about the insight view of the industries. The placement cell also provides seminars, guest lectures, resume writing sessions and many more. In the Faculty of Law placement process various companies are invited for placement drive.

Faculty of Law Facilities 

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, moot court, seminar hall and many more. The college has a library with a large collection of books.  The Faculty of Law DU has an excellent infrastructure facility for students. The institute also provides medical facilities and a cafeteria .

Faculty of Law Location 

The college  is located at Chhatra Marg, Art Faculty, University Enclave, Delhi. Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station is 1.5 km away and Delhi Junction Railway Station is 4.6 km away from the institute. The nearest bus depot to the institute is BBM Bus Depot. Indira Gandhi International Airport is 24.6 km away and it will take around 50 minutes to reach the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Students can hire a cab or take a bus to reach the institute.
