Yes IIRM Hyderbabad is a decent college for pursuing MBA. The placements are good as well, all you need is to master your speaking skills, grammar skills, vocabulary and the academic performances. The CMAT cutoff for this college was close to 95 percentile last year.

Hi..
IRMA is one of the top 20 colleges in India. It is one of the best colleges for Rural Management and India`s leading school in rural management committed to acting as the catalyst and facilitator of rural prosperity. It comes in tire 2 colleges after the IIMs.
IRMA accepts the score of CAT and XAT entrance exams. Foreign nationals who want to take admission will have to apply either through GMAT or GRE scores. Apart from that the institute also conducts its own test called the Issue of Social Concern (ISC) Exam and it is compulsory for all candidates to appear for ISC Exam in order to take admission in IRMA.
The campus is fully residential equipped with student's hostels, mess, lecture halls, seminar rooms, library, faculty and administrative offices, auditorium, executive training and development centre, faculty and staff housing, dispensary, and other support facilities. The IRMA staff co-operative store caters to the resident's daily necessities. The lecture halls are specially designed for interactive learning and are equipped with state of the art audio visual systems. Well appointed seminar halls for hosting talks by visiting industry heads, inter and intra college events, seminars, debates, workshops, etc.
IRMA provides 100% placements which you can easily verify from their placements page.It is definitely a field which is high in demand looking at the current scenario where the agriculture is at it's lowest which shows there is a huge scope untapped also 66% of people still live in rural areas and 50% of population still depends on agriculture for their lively-hood so this makes Rural Management a really good option.
They also provide 100% placement with highest of 46.5 lakh and average is 10.22 lakh in placements.
The most notable and striking feature of IRMA is the internship. There are 3 internships and one village induction program which makes the 2 year program very interesting and experienced rich.
It would be the best option for pgdrm.
Best luck...
Hello Aman,
Placements given to all the students every year. 70-90% placements happen every year on an average. Most of the companies came to campus. The companies include TCS , Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. Also core companies like Berger Paints, Wabag, Haldia Petrochemicals, Philips Carbon Black comes for campus recruitment.
Placements package are quite well.
Good luck
Hello,
It is possible that, it might have been a prank message. Anyway ask him whether he has applied for IIRM. The IIRM may communicate regarding selection for appearance of aptitude test or interview. The admission procedure can be seen in https://www.iirm.ac.in/admission#admission-process. You can enquire the institute about the reality.
Hello Shivansh,
Among the colleges that you have mentioned, SDIMD, Mysore and IMS, Ghaziabad are almost at par and M.S. Ramaiah, Bangalore and FMS IIRM, Jaipur are also at par. But SDIMD, Mysore and IMS, Ghaziabad are better than M.S. Ramaiah, Bangalore and FMS IIRM, Jaipur.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Please do tell in case you have any further doubts or queries.
Hello Sri Ramya Simhadri,
My recommendation would be IPE upon IIRM .It mainly has the notable alumini with the placement record of more than 70%. Every year, a good number of companies are visiting the college for placement drives. As we all know that 100% placements can be mentioned on a paper, but the students who perform better are more likely to get placed. New companies are being introduced every academic year.
Hope this will help.
infrastructure is okay, facilities are good but the equipment they have at their disposal is of low quality. Faculties have knowledge but there are not proper libraries sport centres and hostels and this is the main problem
