GTEC Vellore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college aims at ensuring harmonious and friendly living among the students of various states, and inculcating self-discipline in each individual, and making the hostels serve as a training ground for a purified, and successful life and for the development of body, mind, and soul as a whole in every student. The Hostels are under the overall Managing control of the Principal, AO, CEO, and the Chief warden of the hostels.

A part-time Medical officer has been appointed to the campus to take care of sick students and staff.

The college Library is systematically designed and built-in 824 Sq. mt with fully air-conditioned. The library has the following salient features. More than 31,500 volumes of books, back volumes, and thesis. 7674 titles of Different Engineering and Non-Engineering study materials. 131 Subscriptions to Printed National Journals and Magazines. 1857 e. journals(International ) from IEEE, ASME, and DELNET. 2834 Non-Book Materials (CD’S, DVDs, and Audio Cassettes), and also we have Indian and International Publisher’s titles.

The college believes in the all-around development of engineers. Sports help promote a healthy lifestyle and teach engineers how to cope with stress. Sportsmanship strives for fair play, courtesy towards teammates' opponents, ethical behavior, integrity & grace in both victories as well as defeat. Hence, at GTEC we emphasize the importance of sports and ensure that physical activity is an integral part of the curriculum.

The college has BandWidth - 50 Mbps(1 :1). Internet Server (Endian Firewall 2.5). 200 Systems are facilitated with an internet facility out of 908 systems. Internet Centre for Students and Faculty.

The college has a full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. In our College 11 buses are running to transport students from nearby villages. The longest distance covered by our buses is from Walaja via Ranipet and Gudiyatham. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
