GIET Bhubaneswar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has boys’ Hostel facilities available for boys inside the college campus. For outside the campus, a college bus is available. Apart from all well-furnished rooms with attached toilet and other amenities color TV, Computer & wi-fi internet facilities, Newspaper & Magazines. Both non-vegetarian & vegetarian food is available on the basis of the requirements of the students. Good hygienic condition is strictly maintained both in the food and living conditions. Hostel superintendents supervise the functioning of the Hostels regularly. The hostel fees are as per the guidelines of the state Govt. of Orissa. 

The college has Girl’s Hostel facilities available for girls inside the college campus. For outside the campus, a college bus is available. The college has a Gym facility for the students. A fully open-air gymnasium, with modern imported equipment, exists inside the campus. Two qualified Gym Instructors are available round the clock to train students specifically for their respective sports. The Gym has separate timings for men and women. 

The college has a library that has been built to maintain unique standards. Specialized collections of Books, Journals are available in, Engineering and Technology, It has well over 17,962 Volumes of books and subscribes to many important journals, national and international. The library remains open throughout the week. Students can issue books from the library under three different schemes. 

The library is well equipped with modem facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the form of non-book materials around 1000 CDs, 150 Video Cassettes, and 200 Audio Cassettes. GIET Subscribes to 24 National and International Journals.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a cafeteria with a seating capacity of more than 200 people. It has a well-planned hygienic kitchen run by a reputed caterer at administered prices. Multi-cuisine lunch and snacks are being served in the cafeteria. They provide veg and non-veg menu simultaneously on all days. A fast food restaurant-cum-convenience store is also there.  

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Transport facility for the students and staff.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has Banks/ATM facilities for all students. To provide a banking facility for the students and staff, we established an ATM of SBI adjacent to our college campus. To make banking easier for our students, 24 hours ATM facility has been provided. Hostel students enjoy the benefits more. 

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
