GIT GandhiNagar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Institute has a Resource Centre that serves primarily the faculty, students, and staff of the College. The RC contains more than 15000 books and 70 periodicals on all subjects related to Engineering, Management, and general to make use for academic and non-academic purposes. The RC has over 275 electronic journals by renowned publishers. Access is available on campus through LAN. There are 6 computer terminals with an OPAC search facility including internet access for the use of students as well as staff members. Printing, and copying facilities are also available. OPAC provides access to the RC holdings, availability status of books, CDs, DVDs, periodicals, etc. There are 4096 book titles,16416 book volumes, journals 45, magazines 21, newspapers 11, and library members 2155.

The Institute has excellent sports facilities comprising synthetic grounds for cricket, volleyball, football, etc. Facilities for indoor games such as table tennis, chess, carom, etc. are also available.

The college computing facilities at the campus include modern computer laboratories with the latest configuration computers, modern software, and high-speed servers. The network connects every corner of the institute having 24*7 internet connectivity. Language laboratories are equipped with the latest software to aid modern language teaching.
