RCET R1 is the first college among its 6 Engineering Colleges in the State. it does have good infrastructure, Auditorium,Labs, a 4 storey Air conditioned Library (best part of college),2 Canteens and many food stalls and Juice Corner,most importantly Classrooms with Digital Projectors.

Academics is Average I must say,if you are looking overall it's among Top 3 private Engg colleges in Chhattisgarh Including Bit bhilai(no 1) and Shankara 1. Some Faculties like SP Dubey Sir(Dean) are Super Teachers but many of them are not that much worthy to uplift the Engineering Education Level.

This is the Best part for someone to join this Institution. Surely RCET R1 is the best College which provides most Campus Placements in the state. I got placed in Accenture(MNC) and many of my batchmates and Similarly Our Seniors and Juniors as per my knowledge did find their placements.So if you are willing and working on it ,College will surely get you a decent job(which nowadays only5% colleges are able to Provide)

Straight suggestion is that If you Got IIT or NIT or any much Reputed college just go for them. In Chhattisgarh first try to get BIT Durg if not Join RCET R1 Bhilai.

Altough College management is Very Strict but we used to find our ways for fun.Tech fest Cultural Fest etc Happens there in a regular interval you can participate or conduct if you have ability.also try to join Tech fests in Nits and IIts during your Engineering it will help you grow . College campus is good and main thing is Bhilai is purely heaven for Students and specially for Engineering Students so don't worry about that.Enjoy and Study can go parallel here.

overall college infra is good with necessary facilities , classrooms are big , libraries are also good and there are no sports though hostels are average u can say place is hygienic and wifi coverage is not good

Faculties are good and are experinced , quality of teaching is also average , curriculum is old as its following csvtu , no developments , study here will make u job ready though but placements are very rare here

placements are good for cse students and If you're performance is overall good you'll achieve it , half of the students get placed don't expect high package , placement process is easy and supportive and its your pat how u can grab job

if you want to get a degree with some good friends then come here enjoy bhilai ,money is worth and if you don't expect college placements

campus life is not exciting cuz , worst part is its very strict , teachers are supportive though , location is good in city and can handle emergencies

College infra is good and is attached with the city. Facilities are good but not too good as most of the engineering colleges are going through downfall in CG therefore it has impact here too.You'll get awesome canteen facilities with good menu so not to worry about food

Academics are average as most of it are theory and traditional teaching.No modern teaching methods can be seen.Faculties are mostly non experienced as they are joined recently after completing their engineering.

if you're a top performer and scored well with all subjects clear then expect placements else they have no policy of guarantee placements.Hardly 5-10% people get placements.For mech and civil hardly any company comes

If you want to get placements I recommend go out of CG. if you just want to have a degree and apply from outside the its value for money like most of the engineering colleges of CG

Best feature is you can make any friends from all over CG as they came from different parts.Worst feature is you will feel like being in jail.staff are always rude but supportive , location is good city touch

overall its fun studying here.lots of friends you'll make but don't hope you'll enjoy in the campus of the college as once you're in you are not allowed to go outside.And the college is very strict.
