GRIET has various student clubs that help to enhance the skills of the students. Extracurricular activities are given due importance and the club serves this purpose. Being a part of the students club not only helps the students to enhance their skills but it also helps in the overall personality development of the students.
Spices: It is a student’s club that is engaged in organising culinary events and encourages the interest of students in culinary activities.
Women’s Development Cell: This is a cell that looks after the welfare of the women present in the college, and creates equal opportunities for them and empowers them.
Robotics Club: The aim of the robotics club is to provide the students with the knowledge of robotics. The robotics club regularly conducts various workshops and courses throughout the year in order to help the students learn more about robotics.
Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell: This Cell of the GRIET creates an environment against gender bias and takes all possible measures to prevent sexual harassment against women.
Technology and Innovation Cell: The technology and innovation cell works in order to promote Industry-Institute interaction. This cell provides industries with cost-effective solutions.
National Service Scheme (NSS): NSS creates social awareness and imparts human values in students and creates a spirit of social service amongst them.
Spiral: This is the Literature Club of the institution that focuses on the overall development of the student by conducting events such as elocution, essay writing.

GRIET Fee
The admission fee for all the courses is paid either through a demand draft, online mode or NEFT/RTGS in favour of GRIET. The average fee for B.Tech programme Rs. 4.72 lakhs. The average fee to be paid for the MBA programme is Rs. 2.37 lakhs whereas the total fee for the MCA programme is Rs. 2.37 lakhs.

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by GRIET is done through marks scored in EAMCET (UG) and PGECET (PG) Scores. Students have to both apply and appear in entrance examination. Step by step process for admission in GRIET is mentioned below:
Admission to B.Tech
Students have to appear in the EAMCET examination.
Students are required to qualify the EAMCET examination.

GRIET Scholarship
Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology provides scholarships to the students enrolling themselves in B.Tech programmes. The criteria for obtaining a scholarship is based on the rank acquired by the student in the EAMCET entrance examination.

GRIET has released its placement data for the year 2019. Candidates belonging to various courses participated in the placement drive. Several companies leading in different sectors visit the college for conducting the placement drive.
Step 1: Invitation- The college’s placement cell sends invitation to prospective recruiters. This is done to invite them in order to conduct a placement drive.
Step 2: Placement Drive Day- The recruiters that accept the invite select a day on which they would like to visit the campus and conduct all the placement processes.

In these three options I suggest you to go for CSE in GRIET. Even though CBIT and JNTU are top colleges, compromising branch for them are not worth it. If you are getting IT in these two colleges then you could go for it. Because, IT has better placements than EEE and ECE. CSE in GRIET too is very great. Many students from CSE get placements above 20 lakhs in this college. But, if you compromise your branch and go for ECE OR EEE in CBIT or JNTUH you wont have good placements that you get if you do CSE in GRIET.
