GEC Kozhikode

The Government Engineering College Kozhikode was established in 1999 by the Government of Kerala and operates under the purview of the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. The college campus spans 10 acres of land and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institution is affiliated with the University of Calicut and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, offering B.Tech and M.Tech courses in various specialisations. These courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and admission is granted through the Government Engineering College Kozhikode admission process. 

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of GEC Kozhikode has produced about 100 GEC placements in the year 2023 and is still in continuation. 

Big recruiters like Renault Nissan, Yokogawa, Ey Global Delivery Sys, Quest Global, Quest Global, Mycaptain, Cognizant, and Aarbee Structures have visited the GEC campus and offered jobs to students. GECK facilities include a girls' hostel, library, laboratories, cafeteria, transport, and a medical clinic. GECK infrastructure is well-maintained, with campus-wide Wi-Fi and networking. The college also offers sports facilities, a gym, and a spacious auditorium.
