Government Engineering College, Patan offers undergraduate programmes. GEC Patan courses are offered in engineering, computer application and IT streams. The college offers full-time programmes. GEC Patan courses at the UG level include B.E in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering specialisations. The course duration of B.E is 4 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.E admission is that the candidates should have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognised board. Infrastructure of the college can be considered as one of the best infrastructures from the all Gec colleges of GTU. Containing total 5 braches with well developed classes , computer lab,library facility and a well developed Siemens lab . Wi-Fi facilities available all over the campus with a well developed hostel for boys and girls it is one of the best hostel infrastructure.

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cloud Computing & Virtualization Technology in academic collaboration with IBM,
B. Tech (Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Oil & Gas Informatics),
B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering with specialization In Open Source & Open Standards (in association with IBM),
B.Tech Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in Business Analytics (IBM).
The plus point is that these courses are in collaboration with IBM
