The central library has more than 60,000 books and journals .Besides the central library each department has their own libraries that help the students to access books of a particular domain.The Central Computing Facility(CCF) is a centralized computer center for students and staff.The CCF is equiped with over 200 desktops and 1Gbps NKN Internet connectivity.Co-operative society ,Canteen facilities are also available in the college.Post Office & Bank, Dispensary are also situated in the campus.

To be considered eligible for admission to BTech programmes at GEC Thrissur, a candidate should have taken KEAM test. And must have scored a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together in 10+2 from a board recognised by Universities in Kerala, or have scored a minimum 50 per cent marks in 2nd and 3rd years of diploma in Engineering examinations, recognised by the State Board of Technical Education and approved by AICTE.
The BArch admission process at GEC Thrissur is basic. Candidates, after confirming their eligibility, will have to first appear for NATA. On the basis of the NATA results and cut-off scores, applicants will have to fill the GECT application form and appear for counselling. Seats to the shortlisted candidates will be allotted thereafter upon submitting the required documents and paying the GECT BArch admission fees.
