GEC Thrissur Placements

Government Engineering College Thrissur has a training cum placement cell, which assists in the placement of the final year candidates. GEC Thrissur placement cell conducts various activities like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, group discussions, mock interviews, etc to make the students placement ready. Several companies are invited to the campus for the hiring process. Companies like Bosch, Huawei, Indigo, Reliance, Yahoo, Accenture, SAP, L&T to name a few have visited the campus for the Government Engineering College Thrissur placement drive. As per the college placement report, total 439 offers have been made in the year 2021, compared to 464 in 2020. According to the GEC Thrissur placement statistics for the four-year undergraduate Engineering programme, out of 434 eligible candidates, 305 have been placed in different companies and 24 have opted for higher studies. For the Architecture programme, out of 46 eligible candidates, 23 have been placed in the year 2020.
