GEC Wayanad Admission Process
The admissions of Government Engineering College Wayanad are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. B.Tech and M.Tech are the courses offered by the institute. GEC Wayanad Admissions to Postgraduate Courses
A total of 2 M.Tech courses are offered by GEC Wayanad at the PG level. The duration of the courses is two years. The courses are- M.Tech Communication Engineering and Signal Processing and M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Network and Security. The eligibility criteria and the seats for all the M.Tech courses are given below:

GEC Wayanad Admission Procedure to M.Tech Courses
Candidates must appear for GATE.
Candidates must fill Kerala M.Tech application form on the official website of DTE Kerala.
Rank list is prepared for selected candidates based on GATE scores.
Candidates must meet the cut off of GEC Wayanad.
After that, candidates have to participate in the Kerala M.Tech counselling process.
For final admission, selected candidates must pay the admission fees and get their documents verified.

I am a student in the ECE dept. Teaching quality is good. The KTU curriculum is being followed. The results are not that good. Teachers are pretty good and talented. Many new permanent teachers and staffs joined in this academic year.

Am studying for the bachelor of technology for the computer science engineering course. This is my first year in this college, I feel good being with the new faculty members here. They are quite serious during the class hours but are good at interacting when we meet them casually. The teaching and learning process here are quite smooth. As this is a government college professors never take much efforts but students are capable of taking effort for the academic progress.

I would suggest you share your rank as only then we will be able to better help you. That being said, your chances of admission at institutes like NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs are low.

Hi Candidate,
You have been allotted a seat in the Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) at Raichur, so you might have got it from the JoSAA Counseling Process which is the official Seat Allotment Commitee for admission into the IIITs, IITs, NITs, and the GFTIs too.
So, if you are not interested in the current college alloted to you in the counselling rounds, you can either choose to Slide or Float your seat so that you get an opportunity to get another seat in the further Rounds.
