The Government Institute of Garment Technology, Amritsar offers diploma courses in the field of fashion design and garment technology. Those who want to pursue these courses can apply for admission. These diploma courses are three years long and are full-time courses. The GIGT eligibility criteria include a qualification in the 10th board examination.  Both the courses are affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education, Punjab & are approved by the All India Council for Tech.
