Dear aspirant,
MEC & CEC are good courses and have advantages based on their field. Considering all the aspects it can be said that MEC is better than CEC. Because MEC students have more career opportunities than CEC students and salary offered is more for MEC students. Mathematics Economics Commerce (MEC) students have wider career opportunities. The jobs can be easily available after graduation for MEC students than CEC students.
MEC students can study below mentioned courses after completion of MEC in Intermediate.
Job opportunities for MEC students after graduation.
Commerce Economics Civics (CEC) students have chance to study various Arts fields. There are also good career opportunities for this field.
List of courses which can be done by CEC students after completion of intermediate in CEC stream.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. No, as of currently being a commerce student you cannot acquire enrollment in B tech degrees. MEC (Mathematics, Economics, and Commerce) is an intermediate subject combination. For B. tech, one must have completed class 12 in the science stream, primarily physics, chemistry, and mathematics. If you want to definitely pursue a B. Tech Degree course. All you need to do is to take up Diploma in Engineering. The eligibility for the diploma course is 10th pass.
ALL THE BEST
Dear Student,
MEC is the combination of Mathematics , Economics and Commerce . But the basic eligibility requirement for admissions to any B.Tech programme is candidate must have passed the class 12 exam from a recognised board with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) . By MEC you cannot do B.Tech in any engineering fields. So,I can't provide you guidelines regarding this.
I hope the answer was helpful.
Hello,
To pursue Under Graduate Engineering course you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board with minimum percentage of marks as specified. As you haven't studied Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 level you are not eligible to apply for admission to Aeronautical Engineering. You check the list of Engineering colleges in India and check the eligibility criteria by clicking on the name of the institute

Hi Kshitij,
It is not simple to compare these colleges as it will include different factors. But I will try to compare the first two colleges first based on ranking, faculty, placements, infrastructure, and facilities as you are asking about B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering in these colleges.
The Netaji Subhas Univ. of Tech. (NSUT) was previously named Netaji Subhas Inst. of Tech. (NSIT). It is situated in New Delhi.
In 2018, this institution was awarded a University reputation, altering its identity into Netaji Subhas Univ. of Tech. (NSUT). It is one of the reputed colleges of India and is ranked alongside IITs, NITs, and IIITs.
It is a state govt college founded in 1983. It is AICTE and UGC recognized and had NIRF 88th categorized recent year. It has adequate infrastructure, good faculty, and great college life. It claims 100% placements. There has been a rising trend in placements opportunities from last year. The basic income was around INR 12-13 LPA. The top companies that regularly visit the college are Microsoft, Intel, Google, Birla, Honda, Accenture, Cisco, Amazon, etc. Since it is in the capital city of our country you will enter into communication with students from all over the country. Its approximate fee is INR 9 lakhs. The entrance exam accepted here is Joint Entrance Exam Mains.
R.V Coll. of Engg. is an independent private technological college situated in Bangalore. RVCE is recognized by the AICTE. It was formed in 1963. It is ranked 77th in the NIRF categorizing frame.
It has better infrastructure, faculty, and facilities. Its placements are also very good. Last year around 250 companies visited the college and 1,325 offers were made. The median salary was about 7-8 LPA and the highest salary was 24 LPA. The biggest CTC has only been boosted in the previous years. The prime firms that visited the company were Snapdeal, Amazon, Google, Adani, Asian Paints, KPMG, etc. The fees here are approximately INR 4 Lakhs. Entrance exams accepted here are KCET, COMEDK UGET.
VNIT , Nagpur, is a known private technological institute. It was formed in 1960 and is one of the best NITs in the nation. The metallurgy department is promising due to its excellent faculty and decent infrastructure. It has good placement opportunities. The top companies visiting are TATA, JINDAL, Vedanta, Hindalco, Reliance, etc. Last year the highest package was about 11-12 LPA. Fees are 5.5 Lakhs.
You can choose which establishment is promising for you.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
The infrastructure may not be the highlight facet of the college, but it makes up with the fact that it is situated in a very good place, at the centre of the city of Kochi. Classrooms are great and well maintained, with WiFi available. There are football, basketball and volleyball courts for sports.
