In order to seek admission into the college, a candidate has to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. A candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent will be eligible for admission to the B.Sc programmes. A candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education in Karnataka and other States with Mathematics/ Three years Diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka are eligible for admission to BCA programme.
For candidates seeking admission into the M.Sc programmes, the following eligibility criteria needs to be fulfilled:
Candidates passing B.Sc. Degree examination with at least one subject as optional in Biological Sciences, (Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Sericulture) with Chemistry or Biochemistry as other optional or two subjects in biological sciences are eligible. Candidates who have passed B Sc Honours in Biological Sciences are also eligible.

GSC, Bangalore offers 17 courses across 3 streams namely Science, Arts, IT and across 4 degrees like BSc, BCA, B.O.T, MSc.Hostel facility is not available for its students.
The placement cell of GSC is actively engaged in not only hiring activities but also organizes various training and developmental activities that help in personality grooming to enhance employability of students.
