GNDEC Ludhiana Facilities

When it comes to Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College infrastructure and facility, it provides its students with several facilities and an infrastructure which spreads in an area of 88 acres.
GNDEC infrastructure and facility includes several facilities like library, separate boys and girls hostels, gym, sports complex, auditoriums, laboratories, Wi-Fi facilities, cafeteria, so on and so forth. Students can read about the facilities below:
Library- GNDEC has a huge library available for students. The library is well equipped with books of all courses. Students can use the library to issue books as well as a study area.
Sports facilities- The college is equipped with sports facilities. Students can use the sports complex during their free time.
Gym- The individuals who are dedicated to their fitness and like to go to gym can do so in the college campus itself. GNDEC’s gym is well equipped with machines of several types.
Hostel facilities- Since GNDEC is a co-education college it offers separate hostel facilities to both boys and girls. Students can choose to stay in the hostel by enrolling for it during the time of admission.
Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana Clubs, Committees and Councils
GNDEC also provides the students with the opportunity to explore their interest areas apart from academics. Therefore, these student clubs are made.
Cultural Club- This club is made for all the students who are interested in music or dance. Students can join this club and make the most out of their hobby.
Photography Club- As the name suggests, the photography club is for all those individuals who like photography and wish to learn more about this field.
Acting Club- The acting club is for all those students who have an inclination towards acting or want to learn theatre.

The college has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Girls Hostel
The college has girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Medical/Hospital
A Dispensary for students, faculty & staff is maintained in the campus. Two qualified doctors cater to the emergency needs as well as regular physical check up of campus residents. The college has also signed MOU's with DMCH, Pahwa Hospital, Apollo Hospital and Fortis Hospital for any emergency.
- Gym
The Gymnasium/Multi exercise Hall is situated on the first floor of sports complex
- Library
The institution has a well-established Air Conditioned Central Library having rich collection of books, online books, print Journals,online journals,back volume journals. It has departmental libraries in all the departments, thus catering to the needs of Undergraduate, Post Graduate students and faculty.
- Sports
The College campus has well established Sports Department which provides & maintains outdoor & indoor sports facilities. The aim of the department is to inculcate sports culture & develop overall personality of students with focus on core values like teamwork, respect, integrity, humility, accountability & sportsmanship through the intramural & extramural activities organized from time to time throughout the session.
- I.T Infrastructure
The Computer Center is equipped with 1000 Mbps (1:1 pure) Leased Line Internet Connectivity with 45 Mbps standby Radio link which provides Internet facilities to the whole college. The Computer Center has its own three labs having around 100 Computers. The Center has high end servers and workstations. The College has its own Mail Server and Web Server which are managed by Computer Center along with Authentication Server, File Server and Others. Firewall is installed for Content Filtering, Monitoring and Threat Management.
- Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
- Auditorium
The Stadium is an open-air, grassy turf stadium comprising 400m 8 lane standard track with cricket pitch at the center and is used primarily for track and field events along with cricket . The stadium has a pavilion with stairs and can seat 1,500 in the main grandstand. The facility is used for Training, practice and competitions.
- Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for alumni association.
- Wifi
The whole college is connected to the Internet through wired and wi-fi network.
- Swimming Pool
Swimming pool in our campus is environmental sustainable facility that serves athletic training, competition and leisure needs. It can accommodate 50-60 swimmers and has no diving facility. The facility has 25m x12m dimension with 4 ft. depth at the shallow end and 6 ft depth at the deeper end. The water is fresh with no chlorination as it is causes irritation to skin and eyes. The pool is cleaned every week thoroughly and is filled with fresh water.
- Laboratories
The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
- Banks/ATMs
The college has a Bank and a Post Office in its campus.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

College Infrastructure
Yes our college have good infrastructure and all types of equipments related to our study.Our classrooms and labs are clean every day and there is healthy environment. College bathrooms are also very good and clean every day. College also provide canteen in which very hygienic food was there. There is als time to time checking of all infrastructure like wall colors, benches,fans etc. and time to time repairment if require.

College Infrastructure
The college has a very good Infrastructure. We have well equipped labs, Chem labs, physics labs and Computer labs with modern machines. All the class rooms has their own projectors.along with this we have a central library and we have cricket grounds , football grounds ,tennis ground, basketball ground. Our whole campus is equipped with Wifi technology with a very good speed.
Blessed to be a part of such an old and reputed college.

College Infrastructure
Although it's a very old college, still it provides all the facilities to its students. Buildings are quiet old but still it is the best college in the city as well as in the region. Everything is fully hygienic.
