Heritage Institute of Technology admissions takes place on the basis of marks obtained in the required entrance examination. Students who are seeking admission to the Btech programmes have to meet the eligibility criteria and qualify for WB JEE or JEE (Main). For students who appeared for WB JEE for Heritage Institute of Technology admissions into the Btech programme have 80% of seats reserved for them. There is 10% of seats reserved for students who appeared for JEE (Main). Whereas 10% of seats are reserved for students under management quota having valid score card of WB JEE or JEE (Main).
