In order to take admission to the Heritage Institute of Technology, candidates have to meet the HIT cutoff. The college offers admission to students whose Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata cutoff rank falls in the bracket of the opening and closing rank. Students who are looking to get admission to Btech courses have to appear for WB JEE and according to their rank obtained, they will be granted admission. Likewise, students who are applying for Mtech courses have to appear for WB PGET and obtain a rank that falls under the closing rank of the exam. Similarly, students scoring a rank in the bracket of closing and opening rank in WB JECA will grant admission to the MCA course. Students have to obtain a rank less than the Heritage Institute of Technology cutoff rank to get admission. Being aware of the Heritage Institute of Technology cutoffs of the previous year helps students analyse the pattern to make a better decision.
As the cutoff rank changes every year, the factors determining the Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata cut off also change.
The difficulty level of the exam matters as the HIT Kolkata cutoff goes up when the difficulty level of the exam is not set to be high than the previous year’s exam.
Availability of seats is one of the major factors.
The performance of the candidates appearing for the entrance exam also determines the HIT Kolkata cutoff.
The previous year’s cutoff trends also give an idea about the cutoff.
