Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Shahpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology Shahpur was established in the year 2010. HIET Shahpur is approved by AICTE and is an affiliated institution of Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. The institute offers various courses at three levels of programmes. The HIET Shahpur courses include Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Before applying the candidates need to appear for the relevant entrance examination which includes JEE Main and HPCET. The HIET admissions will be on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination and performance in past academics.

The HIET Shahpur facilities include separate hostels for both the genders, medical and health care centre with first aid facility, gym facilities for the students, library with more than 20000 books, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and playgrounds for various outdoor games, excellent IT Infrastructure, canteen facility for staff and students, auditorium facility for events and seminars, transport facility to and from the college, Wi-Fi enabled campus, labs and many other facilities.
