HICET Coimbatore Admission Process
Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology offers various technical and professional courses. Technical courses offered by the college include BE and ME programs while professional courses include MBA and MCA. Admission to these will is done on the basis of merit and entrance examinations. For admission to BE courses, candidates have to register for TNEA counseling where they will be offered admission on a merit basis as per the marks obtained by them in their qualifying examination. In order to take admission in ME, programs candidates have to register for TANCET counseling where they will be offered admission on the basis of their GATE/TANCET score. Admission to MBA courses will be offered on the basis of TANCET/CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score. Admission to MCA courses will be offered through TANCET counseling on the basis of TANCET scores.
Admission process for B.E Programmes:
Students have to appear for the Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), conducted by Anna University.
Counseling will be conducted based on the ranking in TNEA.
The final selection will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
Admission process for M.E Programmes:
Candidates must have a valid GATE or TANCET score conducted by Anna University.
Counseling is conducted based on the ranking.
Admission process for MBA Programme:
The candidate needs to apply online for the entrance exam.
Admission is based on the TANCET entrance exam.
The candidate with a valid score in any one of the entrance exam-CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT is exempted from appearing in TANCET.
Admission process for MCA:
Students have to apply for TANCET-MBA and qualify for it.
Admission is based on TANCET counseling conducted by Anna University. Counseling is conducted based on the ranking in the entrance examination.

Hindustan College of Engineering is located in a wide area of 200 acres. The College is in Coimbatore. The College is a ragging free Campus. As the rules are strict,there is no chance of ragging in the campus. Speaking about the facilities and infrastructure the College is good. But placements worry a bit.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Mechatronics Engineering in Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
Eligibility criteria for admission is a candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
