Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

In all courses, 90% of students of approved intake capacity will be admitted on the basis of merit position secured by the candidate in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). The balance of 10% of students will be admitted from JEE-MAIN as per norms stipulated by AICTE and the state government.
Diploma holders in any Engineering /Technology discipline can enter for a degree course in the second year at HETC, through an admission test JELET, conducted by WBJEEB.

College Infrastructure

It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment in this college. The classrooms have projectors and well-maintained branches. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic too.

My experience in this college is pretty good.

College Infrastructure

Yes,my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms are very good, neat and clean all the time.Laboratories are also pretty good in decoration with equipments.Library has many different kinds of books available in it. There has a beautiful sports playground in it and many games are playing there. Hostels are nearby of the college. Wifi connection is pretty good. All are in good condition and well maintained. Yes the living places are average clean.
