IBS Dehradun Admission Process

ICFAI Business School, Dehradun offers two courses - MBA and Ph.D Management. IBS Dehradun admission to the MBA course is offered on the basis of CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ CET (Maharashtra) and any other State Level Test scores, group discussions and personal interviews. Candidates who have not appeared for the following exams mentioned above must appear for the IBSAT exam conducted by ICFAI. Candidates can apply for IBS Dehradun admission by visiting the official website of the institute and filling the application form. Before applying for IBS Dehradun admission, candidates must make sure they meet the eligibility criteria determined by the institute.

MBA

Candidates must have completed Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks (as calculated by respective University) with medium of instruction as English. They should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).

Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.

Ph.D Management

Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English and Post Graduation in Management with 55% and above marks.

Post-graduation (full-time) in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, and Mathematics or in an allied discipline from a UGC recognised university in India or abroad with 55% and above marks.

A Professional qualification like CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 55% and above marks.

IBS Dehradun MBA Admission Procedure

Candidates must apply and appear for CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ CET (Maharashtra) and any other State Level Test and secure a valid score.
Candidates must submit the IBS Dehradun application form.
Candidates who have not appeared for the above-mentioned exam, must apply for IBSAT.
Further, candidates who have qualified above mentioned entrance exam must appear for the group discussion and personal interview conducted by IBS Dehradun.
The final selection of candidates is based on the candidates' past academic record, performance in the group discussion and personal interview.

Have a question related to IBS Dehradun ?

i had got ibs dehradun campus and waitlisted for ibs ahemdabad campus, so is it compulsory to join ahemdabad campus if my waitlist get's cleared? or i would be having option between two?

If you don't want to go for the IBS Ahmedabad then you can get admitted to the IBS Dehradun. There is no such mandatory thing to go for IBS Ahmedabad if its get cleared.

Both the business schools you have mentioned are quite good & there won't be much of a difference from the perspective of scope & career ahead.

i secured 74.006 in Ibs selection process. I am allotted IBS Dehradun. What are my chances of getting IBS Hyderabad? Also, If I don't get IBS Hyderabad, what second option should I go for? (FYI I scored 80.4% in my graduation)

After IBS Hyderabad, your Second Option must be IBS Mumbai, but incase you dont get that IBS Dehradun may be a good choice. Being part of the ICFAI University, the College provides effective management education besides providing standard placements.

Jagannath international management school,it is located in kalkaji.

It is private college.
