      The Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS) Cooch Behar offers two courses in Bachelor of Legislative Law that is 3 Year LL.B. Before applying for any IILS course candidates should match the specified IILS eligibility criteria to the desired course. Both the IILS LLB courses are available in full-time mode only. The IILS LLB course duration and fee varies. The IILS Course fee depends on the course selected by the candidate.

      5 year BA/BBA/B.COM.LL.B(H) Course

      -

      Candidates should have completed their Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 system) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in total aggregate. Candidates age should not be more than 20 years in the case of General category and 22 years for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category as of July 1 in the year of appearing in the qualifying exam (subject to the University of North Bengal and Bar Council of India norms). There is no age bar for foreign national candidates.

      LL.B 3 Year Course

      -

      Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized college/ university with at least 45% marks in total aggregate (for General category) and 40% marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to reserved category (SC/ ST) and 42% marks for OBC category. Candidates age should not be more than 30 years in case of General category and 35 years for SC/ST/OBC category as on July 1 in the year of appearing in the qualifying examination (subject to the University of North Bengal and Bar Council of India norms). There is no age bar for foreign national candidates.

      In order to pursue LLM at IILS Cooch Behar, candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Law [LL.B (3 years), LL.B 5 years integrated course, or LL.B. (Hons) 5 years integrated course] with at least 50% marks in total aggregate and whose degree has been recognized by IILS as equivalent.
