IISWBM Kolkata provides a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students. IISWBM Kolkata offers different hostels for boys and girls and a well-equipped gym. The hostels ensure comfortable living of the students by providing them all the modern amenities such as television, internet connectivity through Wi-FI and LAN, well-equipped rooms, study rooms etc.
- Girls Hostel
The college provides well-equipped girls hostels. The hostels provide all the modern facilities and amenities to its students such as well-equipped rooms, recreational room, 24*7 hot water, filtered drinking water, internet connectivity, television etc.
- Gym
The institute has a well-equipped gym with modern equipment for cardio, fitness and weight training and a trainer to guide the students.
- Library
The library of the institute has a wide collection of books, magazines, national and international journals. The library subscribes to a large number of foreign and Indian periodicals, journals. It also has e-journals and e-books for the benefit of the users.
- Sports
The college has well-equipped sports grounds for playing a variety of sports.
- I.T Infrastructure
The institute contains a huge IT Lab (Business Intelligence Lab) with more than 50 workstations and modern audio-visual equipment. This lab allows students to practise using several MIS and DSS tools. Statistical tools such as SPSS and Business Analytics Tools such as R, Rapid Miner, and Rattle are also available at the lab.

One of the oldest college in the country. Infrastructure and college building is a bit old fashioned but classrooms are sophisticated for good studies. There are projectors in the classrooms. Wifi is also present. College campus is clean.

state of the art infrastructure, more or less all facilities are available, but it should be regularly updated, library is the one of the best thing this college have, lot of collection is there but here also updated version of books are rarely available

Claiming itself to be the first B-School in the country, the foundation stone of the institute was laid by Jawaharlal Nehru. The infrastructure has mostly retained its rustic features with subtle modernization to cater to the needs of modern day managers. Not to fret, the classes are ventilated with ACs & equipped with projectors. Infrastructure is something that is the only downer for this institution.

Step 2: Written TestEligible candidates need to appear for written test conducted by the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.

see I would suggest you to go for lovely professional university, since the university has record of 100 percent , has ranked best among private university in india, syllabus and curriculum are updated and industry standard, colleges has collaboration with many industry where students may get internship during study period. whether iiswbm have average placement and average packages is low compare to lpu.
How is kolkata IISWBM for MBA specialization production and operation management ? How is the placement record in this specialization??
It is quite difficult to tell only about one specialisation. However I am mentioning below the overall details of MBA:
- The MBA faculty has enormous experience in their respective field of teaching and are supportive and cooperative to the students.
- The institute also invites industry experts to its workshops for training MBA students
- The placement percentage is quite good which is around 95% in the recent year.
- Tata Steel, Cognizant, and Godrej are the major recruiters of this Institute
- Indian Institute of Social welfare and business management of Kolkata has a great placement exposure for the students. The average salary package which is offered to the MBA student is 3.5 lacs per annum. The highest salary package which has yet been offered in the MBA field is 16 lakh per annum.
