- I.T Infrastructure
The institute has a well-maintained computer lab that has computer systems equipped with the latest software and hardware. The faculty routinely use LCD projectors, multimedia, overhead projectors, and CDs to foster a more effective learning environment for the students.
- Boys Hostel
For boys students, IHM Kolkata offers on-campus housing. Hostel spaces are allocated by the hostel committee. Meals are available in the hostel at a reasonable price. The hostel has a gym, sports facilities, and a few planned activities. A doctor is also available every day.
- Girls Hostel
Hostel facilities are provided to the girls' students and the hostel committee is responsible to allot the rooms. Many facilities such as gym, sports, and recreational facilities are available for the students. The hostel runs under the supervision of wardens.
- Library
IHM Kolkata Library has a collection of books, journals, CDs and videos on Hotel Management that students can refer to gather more information. The library is fully computerised and students have access to wi-fi.
- Medical/Hospital
The institute has a health centre that provides medical facilities to the students, staff and faculty members for an emergency. First aid is also provided to the students for minor health issues.
- Cafeteria
IHM Kolkata cafeteria serves nutritious and healthy meals to all the members of the institute. The food is served at an affordable price.
- Laboratories
To provide practical knowledge to the students, IHM Kolkata has a housekeeping practical laboratory with heavy-duty machinery and three mock guest rooms.
- Gym

College Infrastructure
IHM Kolkata is a central government college so funding comes from the government, so infrastructure is really good. There are 3 kitchens for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. There are 2 restaurants and 1 banquet hall 1 front office lab and 1 housekeeping lab for benefit of the students along with well equipped classes with projectors and also hostel facilities are available.

College Infrastructure
The college provides a decent Infrastructure, even though the building is not very new, but all the essential facilities are available with good hygiene maintenance. The corridors, washrooms and classrooms are mopped twice in a day. The food provided is tasty and fulfilling

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that diploma in the hotel management course is good for the future one as you can get a job easily in the places of the tourist interest and can start earning on your own. But always you can opt for higher studies if you don't want to stuck with smaller packages.

I have completed my bachelor's from INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, KOLKATA...and..they have provided me a distance certificate of BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY....Lot of people told me that top B-school dont prefer students who have completed thier graduation from distance education??
