Yes, it has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. My college had a board room, two facilities, a kitchen, two bakeries, and a facility restaurant. It has a very good ambience, and the library and sports grounds were also great.
The quality of teaching is exceptional. It helps the students understand the concepts better, as the best faculties are there in our college. It has seen some great achievements in recent years. It is a great honour to be a part of the college
The placements at this college are also very good. It places the students at the best organizations, hotels, and restaurants. It has a great return on investment as well. I was placed at Barbecue Nation.
The classrooms have tools like projectors, making learning interactive and easy to understand. The practical labs are well-equipped with all the up-to-date equipments and services allowing students to practice what they learn in theory. The library is also filled with many useful books and resources to support studies. In the hostels, students are provided with WiFi connectivity. The college follows strict hygiene standards and the cleanliness of rooms are given high priority.
The course curriculum is up to date with the current industry needs. The theory as well as practical aspects of all the subjects are taught in a good manner by the faculty. The faculty is also good as most of them are industry experts with years of experience in their respective field.
During my placements, Covid hit India so the placements were a bit doubtful as the companies were already letting go of their staff and recruitment of new staff was not possible. Yet the college provided us with placements in the retail sector with a decent package.
It cost us a total of around 2.5 to 3L for 3 Years. But it was worth it as the college is run by central government itself and has a great brand value providing an edge in internships as well as placements.
The campus life is fun with lots of activities and events being held along with the curriculum. The practical aspect can be hectic but the college ultimately prepares you for the industry life and how it will challenge you. Overall it was a great experience for me.

Also, the regular practical classes along with follow up theory classes help to Sharpen concepts of the students along with regular doubt clearing sessions to facilitate the students
Students can sit for placements from their 5th semester onwards. Placement is pretty good with opportunities coming from hotel sector, retails, and airlines sector. Posts offered include Management Trainee, Operational Trainee and Entry Level posts for which students compete during placement season. Major recruiters include Taj hotels, ITC, Oberoi Hotels, JW Marriott etc and airlines sector linke Indigo airlines and several retail companies like Arvind Mills, Reliance etc.
Definitely it is value for money, as the placement you get is quite good and ROI is also good.
Awesome campus life! With a lush green playground and learning friendly environment.

The college provides a decent Infrastructure, even though the building is not very new, but all the essential facilities are available with good hygiene maintenance. The corridors, washrooms and classrooms are mopped twice in a day. The food provided is tasty and fulfilling
It is one of the best colleges if you want to go for Hotel Management. The faculties are very knowledgeable and cooperative. Discipline is strictly followed. There are smart and interactive classes that are conducted for better understanding.
There are numerous General Managers, Departmental Heads, and Supervisors who are Alumni of IHMCTAN Kolkata. Every year 20+ companies visits for campus placement including hotels and retails. Therefore there are prospects in fields other than hotels as well
