Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition offers BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, and Diploma in Food Production which has age limit of 25 years for UR candidates, and for SC/ST there is relaxation of three years, other than this there is three months course in cookery and bakery, colleges which offer bakery and confectionery diploma courses are IHM Kolkata, IHM Delhi, IHM Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria for Hotel Management is passed 10+2 from a recognized board having English as one of the subject. Candidates belonging to general category or those from OBC Category have upper age limit of 22 years, while for SC/ST it's 25 years.

You can appear for NCHM JEE which is conducted on a national level for admission to BSc in Hotel Management and Catering Technology ,many top institutes accepts this exam scores for admission process.

IIHMs with its various campuses being in Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad conducts e-CHAT for admission into BSc Catering Science and Hotel Management.

Apart from this, we also have state level exams like UPSEE BHMCT , or MAH HM CET , even universities like IPU, Punjab University conduct their entrance exams.

It would have been easier to Answer your question If you would have specified the course name in which you are interested and also the category you belong to. But let me tell you that you need to clear NCHMCT JEE for getting admissions into IHM, Mumbai. The expected cutoff for 2020 for open ( general ) category is 115-123 marks outoff 200 marks. But, the cut-offs vary every year based on certain factors. So prepare accordingly.

Based on your marks and previous cutoff rank trends, I am sorry to say that you do not qualify for securing admission in IHM-PUSA as they accept students with ranks within the range of 200-300. You definitely stand a chance at securing admission in IHM-Kolkata. You may probably stand a chance at securing a seat in IHM-Mumbai if the cutoffs run a little lower this year. it is quite diffcult for you to get admission in ihm mumbai. because your rank is so high. you can try taking admission there by poarticipating in spot counseling. so go for it. all the very best. have a great future ahead.

There are average chances of getting admission in ihm munbai woth 12000 rank. basicaly the admission is totaly depend on the cut offs. So wait for the cut off as well and contact the ihm mumbai for the admission process they will guide you more properly and effectively. So all the best have a great future ahead.

With 5459 rank in all india ,you are not eligible for Institute of hotel management catering technology and applied nutrition,mumbai as the cut off of this college is 535 rank for open category.You can get this college if you belong to reserved category candidate.But you are eligible for other IHMs like IHM guwathi,IHM hajipur,IHM srinagar,IHM Shillong and IHM Meerut.

Going by the past trends you can get into IHM Mumbai. Last year’s closing ranks for Spot Round and Counselling were 6342 and 3934 respectively. So if we go by last year’s cut-off you will be able to get into IHM – Mumbai. You have a good rank and you easily get into IHM – Mumbai.

Please Note the following:

If you are planning to pursue B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration then your selection will be on the basis of your merit in the qualification examination.

If you are planning to get a Diploma in Food production, then apart from the merit in the qualifying examination and you will have to give a personal interview, based on which you get the admission in IHM – Mumbai.
