Since its inception, International Polytechnic, Bhubaneswar aims to promote human capital in a knowledge-driven economy and meet the challenges of globalisation in the rapid changing corporate world through innovative imagination, creativity, entrepreneurship and decision making and to inculcate the values of work culture, commitment, team spirit and dedication. The diploma degree offered by the institute is a 3-year (6 semesters) programme. This technical programme is offered in various disciplines like- computer science & engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mining engineering and mechanical engineering. Students can choose the desired course and apply for the same provided they fulfil the basic eligibility criteria.

The courses offered are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). After completion of the diploma students can either continue further engineering studies or can opt for employment. The courses are designed in a way that they provide in-depth knowledge and conceptual understanding with techno commercial aspects so that the students complete the programme as well-trained and competent engineers who are ready to enter the industry.
