About JDBI Kolkata
JD Birla Institute is a private college which was established in 1962. JDBI Kolkata is affiliated to Jadavpur University. The college was named as Smt. Jawahari Devi Birla Institute of Home Science but the name of the institute was later changed to JD Birla Institute. The institute added a department of commerce in 2007 and then, later another campus was started to support the department of Management in 2002. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various disciplines such as B.Com(Hons), B.Sc (Hons), M.Com, M.Sc, B.B.A, P.G.D etc.

JD Birla is located in Ballygunge, Kolkata. The nearest metro station to the institute is the Netaji Metro station. Students can reach the institute campus by covering a walking distance. Students who are reaching the institute campus bus, can get down at Birla Planetarium Bus Stand and take a walk from there to the campus or hire an auto.

Sports Club- The Sports Club has been formed to encourage the sports culture inside the institute. Members of this club are interested to develop their skills in different types of sports including outdoor and indoor sports like football, cricket, badminton, tennis, table tennis, carom, chess etc. Students have also participated in different competitions inside and outside JD Birla Institute.
Nature Club- The Nature Club of J D Birla Institute Kolkata aims to spread the importance of environmental awareness among students. Members of this club indulge themselves in various environmental programmes and events to spread the culture of cleanliness and other environmental factors.
Open Debate Forum- Open Debate Forum comprises of members who have an interest in debating. Students of JDBI Kolkata are encouraged to join this club to improve their debating skills and also participate in different events to showcase their talents.

Candidates seeking admission to these UG programmes, need to fill the application forms in offline mode along with all the required documents and fee payment.
Selected candidates have to make the payment of fees through a pay order/demand draft in favour of JD Birla Institute at the time of admission.
Candidates will get admission only after the successful verification of documents and payment of fees.
Only female candidates are allowed for the admission procedure of JDBI Kolkata.
For M.Com(Hons)/M.Sc(Hons) programmes-
Students interested in taking admission to these PG programmes, will get admission based on the merit of the qualifying exam - bachelor’s degree from Jadavpur University or any university recognised by Jadavpur University.

College Infrastructure
I don't know that yet as due to pandemic the college has not yet opened. But online everything is well maintained. They even bought the licensed version of zoom so that we wouldn't be disturbed in between.

The college has a good infrastructure and even better after the renovation done this year. Yes the college has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The classroom are well maintained. And the campus is also very clean and maintained.

What is the fee structure for PG diploma in applied nutrition and dietetics at J D Birla Institute Kolkata?
Post graduate Diploma in dietics and Applied nutrition at J.D Birla Institute is established in 1962 and it is a 1 year (Full time) course.To get into the college the students had to appear for the entrance test conducted by the college and they will be selected based on the marks obtained in graduation, Entrance test and performance in extra curricular activities.
The fee for the particular course is Rs. 74,400 per year
