Yes, My college provides very good facilities and equipment for use. Students are free to sit in Library, Computer Labs any time. My college has good facilities of WiFi in the entire campus including classrooms, laboratories, libraries and sports centres which you can use by your college ID. The issue with sector 128 is that the lack of hostel facility in sector 128 while they provide this facility at sector 62 Noida. The living spaces are clean and the food in hygienic in both sector 62 & 128.
I am doing BTech in computer science and engineering in JIIT 128. I am quite passionate about computer science study and hence I opted this college because the quality of teaching is really well in this college (even better than 62 , some students tell). I have obtained 9.8 SGPA in my both 2nd and 3rd semester and currently having CGPA of 9.5 , The curriculum is really updated and includes all recent developments in the field hence these computer science skills will make me job ready.
The placement cell of JIIT is very popular about it's placements as you all know last year two students grab package of 1.15 and 1.05 Crores per annum. Almost 99% students got placed here which you an see on jiit.ac.in, (both 1.15 and 1.05 Crore package was from sector 128-by sources) and both are from CSE. The average salary is 11.44 Lacks (Current). Seniors who got placed told that the college was always supportive to the students during placemen and the process if smooth and transparent here.
The course of BTech costs around 11.62 Lacks for four year which results around 2.9 Lacks per year. If you will personally ask to me then I will say it's worth it for me as college is providing me William Webster Scholarship which provides one semester tution fees wavier per year. Even if I was not getting this scholarship , even then my answer would be worth it as compared to other private universities. The placements in JIIT are really good and hence after placed , It's will worth for you also
College campus if quite good but it's small as compared to other college. Students can engage in various activities as per their choice by joining societies. Here, all seniors , teachers and staff is very much supportive. The state location of my college is very excellent as most IT companies are in noida in UP. If you have any emergency then you can go to Jaypee hospital very near to sector 128 and they provides 500 Rupees less in your charge by checking you Identity card of JIIT (for students)
I would like to add one thing that JIIT is a deemed university and hence they provide us the facility to check our notebooks after checking by teachers, so if you feel that there is any injustice in notebook checking then you can ask for clarification and if teachers feels your argument correct then they will increase your marks. Apart from that the grade system in my college is relative which means - grades will be calculated relatively as you see in JEE result. For me it's best college now.
Jaypee has very good infrastructure and its among one of the few college which can boast of state of the art computing resources and network across the campus. There is a huge library with sufficient amount of books with very good wifi facility.
Currently I am a passout and I was enrolled for b.tech in computer science and engineering. The course curriculum is well updated. New specialisation branches has been introduced currently which is very good for near future.
Placements stats are very good in this college. 100% placements were seen the in the computer science branch for the current batch. The highest package was offered by Adobe and the 2nd highest was from de Shaw. Almost 90+% of students were placed overall.
This college is a bit costly for middle class families. The cost for 1st year in btech is generally around 2.5L and in course of four years it would be around 11-14L which is a costly one. If you are taking up computer science then it's good but other than this it's a bit costly.
Campus life here at jiit is pretty average and the campus size is not very big but you will find all well established stuffs around the campus. Various cafe placed are there in the campus. There is also laundry service available in the college.
Yes college is well equipped with all the necessary facilities including library and all the sports faculty. In classroom the classroom were very equipped with projectors and screens also well maintained in terms of quality and silence.
I'm pursuing B.tech in computer science . I opt for this course as JIIT is a well known Institute in Engineering updating the course structure every year with the latest subjects. Yes curriculum is always updated .
In terms of placement over 200 companies visit for on campus placements . The placement percentage of institute is around 99% with highest salary of approximately 43Lacks. The Placement process is really smooth and coordinators are very helpful.
College infrastructure is one of the positive things about the college. First of all the location of college is such that there is a lot of greenery and space around the college even being in Noida. It also have well equipped labs dedicated for the departments. The sports facility include cricket, football, volleyball grounds and basketball and lawn tennis court. College also have indoor badminton courts, pool, squash courts and other indoor sports. The classes are also quite neat and spacious.
The faculty of ECE branch are good and quite skilled in their respective fields. The curriculum is also decently designed for the students. The thing in which it is not great is the deliverance of knowledge in its core field as the course starts to focus more around coding. The syllabus is also updated frequently which is a good thing.
The placements of our seniors were good with highest placement from our branch reaching around 40 lakhs per annum. The average placement of the ECE branch stands around 4.5 lakhs per annum which is not enough keeping in mind the amount of money and efforts invested. Overall if you are a good student you will have a good package at the end of course otherwise you will be going to the mass recruiters. Some recruiters are- Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Adobe, Ericsson, etc.
The per year fees of ECE and CSE industries is around 2 lakh 40 thousand which is quite a lot keeping in mind the placement and tier of the college. The fests are quite nice and fun for those concerned.
The campus life is quite nice and fun. The hostel rooms are good and the sports facilities are very good for those interested in sports. There are fests for both the sectors in which students from both the sectors can come so giving you double the fun. Sector-62 branch is quite well connected with the city giving you many spots ton hang around where as sector-128 is comparatively less connected but compensates with the atmosphere and the greenery around.
Overall it is a nice college if you do not get selected in IITs ,some of the NITs and other top tier colleges. It gives a decent package among it's brethren. The college provide a lot of freedom to the students whether it is the academics or non-academics.
It has a good infrastructure with swimming pool, ground for playing football and cricket, There a separate hall for playing badminton and table tennis.classrooms are well equipped with projectors for smart learning.
They offer only four courses Computer science Engineering,Information Technology,Electronics And communications,BioTechonology. Very well qualified teachers are there. And pretty well developed curriculum.
Lot of opportunities Are there. Many companies come to offer jobs like adobe,Amazon,Infosys,Delloite etc. There are alot of students who every year grab offer of more than 20 lac also there are students who grab more than 30 lacs.
According to the fees the facilities are good. There are ac classrooms and ac hostels and it also have swimming pool, gym, library (in both Jaypee campuses) , laundry ,also they provide wifi in hostel and college.
In 128 sector teachers are better than 62 campus. And I think our curriculum is updated every year . And we are free to ask anything from teachers individually. Our main subject is programming so the exam of that subject is very difficult.
Placements are quitely good . If you did not get NITs and IITs then you can prefer this college . There are approximately 95% placements from our college . The average package from Jaypee is 5-6 lakh .
Our college fees is approximately 4 lakh per year. It is quite costly according to other colleges
They have small campus. And don't have any grocery shop or other daily requirement shops. Their basketball ground is small . Infact group for basketball , vollyball , badminton is same. But there are many small shops just outside the campus
Infrastructure wise, I think this college is little bit above average.Although the campus is small,it's beautifully designed. There is play ground for students, dispensary, swimming pool, gym etc.You will find everything what you need.
The teachers over here are well qualified, but unlike other college students,we need to study on our own.And yeah, curriculum is updated and everything you need is programming.keep coding, and keep earning.
For computer science engineers package is really excellent, highest being around 49 lakh.Ece students somehow manage to get a average pakage of 5-6 lakh.Ece students too can get a minor a in cse and cse too can get ece specialisation.
Fees is around 4 lakh per year including hostel+mess.Yeah, money is getting worth. You must have heard, more you invest and more you get. So,Yes you are not wasting your money, instead you are investing it.
Hostel is in sector 62 itself.Campus being small,I really like it.We don't need to walk too long for laundry, dispensary etc.Sec 128 is off side area. But,we have bus facility from 62 to 128.And sec 62 is at prime location,so obviously it's safe.
Good infrastructure, neat and clean classroom well equipped lab facilities available it has one of the best infrastructure in Delhi NCR region. WiFi facility is also good,it also have an library named LRC(learning resource center) which has thousands of books of ones interest. hostel facility is also good .
this is a deemed university so they have courses different from other engineering colleges they mainly focus on necessary things in their courses like they dont teach chemistry for cse and ece students.they mainly focus on students growth in their particular field which is a good decision.
the number of companies coming in this college for recruitment is increasing every year.i think among the private colleges JIIT has done so far very well in terms of placements.a lot of students get placed in top multinational companies
Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments such as laboratories , well maintained libraries , sport centres and hostels which are very neat and clean . Most importantly the food jn our mess and canteen is perfectly hygenic.
I am currently studying computer science at this institute . The quality of teaching we are provided with is quite decent . Our course is very well structured and timely gets updated keeping in mind all the recent developments in the field.
Placements in our college are very good . Most of the students get placed. Companies from mass recruiters to the highest paying companies such as amazon, google come at our institution. As i am currently studying in my second semester, i don’t have a fisrt hand experience . But our seniors tell us very nicely about placements in our college.
Truely and genuinely we are getting our money’s worth at this institute. Their infrastructure, their academics, their campus life everything is quite well balanced . The food that we get here to the amount of security our college has provided us with is commendable. Seniors here are very helpful and very very supportive. No such thing such as ragging is done here . Our labs , equipments we are provided with all are very nice . One thing which we cannot forget is the cocurricular activities here.
Campus life here at JIIT-128 is very nice and soothing .
Overall our college is worth studying at .
The campus is not that big but it has all the facilities available. There is a big enough ground for sports activities as well as volleyball court, basketball court, lawn tennis. MPH is also there for conducting events...
Quality of teaching is good here. The curriculum is up to date. Teachers are friendly and always ready to help the students in rectifying their doubts and problems. What we study here makes us job-ready...
The placements are good here...the highest package offered last time was around 40 lakh and the average package was around 5-6 lakh which is pretty good compared to other engineering colleges in ncr...
The course cost around 3.5 lakh per year including hostel. Yes,it is value for money...
Campus life is pretty good. You can enjoy with your friends in the ground when you are free...
Both are good colleges. Now it depends on your interest.
If you like coding, computer related work then you can choose VIT Bhopal and also VIT tag you get there is also important.
And if you like electronics related work then go for ECE in Jaypee Noida. If you done ECE, then you can go for both IT companies and EC core companies.
Now choice is yours.
ECE is a rather broad field to study on its own! And there are many excellent career options following an ECE degree.
Being a student in ECE opens up all career options.
Speaking of ECE at JIIT, whether you're in the 62 or 128 sector, the instruction is excellent and the staff is welcoming and available to help anytime you need it. Future advice is also very beneficial. They instruct you as though you were their own child.
But this isn't the greatest institution for ECE if you want to concentrate on campus placements. So yet, none of the key businesses have visited.
Go for ECE at JIIT if you plan to work in IT after earning your ECE degree and are certain you can advance through all levels of IT organisations. Otherwise, it is not advised.
I would absolutely recommend G.L.BAJAJ for cse/it over Galgotias other Universities, however keep in mind a few things, such as the fact that G.L.BAJAJ has a higher degree of discipline than any other institutions in greater Noida. The first two years will need a lot of work because there won't be any festivals (apart from a few modest ones hosted by the CSE Department), even if occasionally celebrities are invited. The standard of schooling is rather high. While some of their mentors and professors are among the best, some are among the worst. It is the most prestigious institution in the region.
Cs/IT students have a lot of opportunities with placement from G.L. BAJAJ. THE MAXIMUM PACKAGE WAS ABOUT 10 LAKH. The following firms visit for campus recruiting
1. Amazon offers a 16 lakh package, but it only hires after a rigorous test. Another big company is Capegemini
2. Other minor recruiters NTT DATA, POLARIS, VIRTUSA, GENPACT, etc
