J D Patil Sangludkar Mahavidyalaya is one of the twenty-seven senior colleges in Daryapur Dist. Amravati, Maharashtra. Established in 1932, this society is a registered body under the 1876 Society Registration Act. Dr. Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh, a great thinker and the first Union Agriculture Minister, formed it. Babasaheb Sangludkar, a distinguished social worker and former MLA, established the institution in 1961, offering faculties of arts and commerce. Up until 1983, it was associated with Nagpur University; after that, it was associated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University in Amravati. J. D. Patil Sangludkar Mahavidyalaya courses are B.A.., B.Com., B.Sc., M.A., and Ph.D. And J. D. Patil Sangludkar Mahavidyalaya admission into these courses is given based on Merit acquired by the students in the qualifying examination.
The institution was founded with the wide goal of providing rural students—who were essentially a socially and economically disadvantaged sector in society—with post-secondary education, ranging from the 10+2 level to bachelor's degrees and beyond. J. D. Patil Sangludkar Mahavidyalaya facilities include the library, sports, canteen, gym and others. Later, in 1989, the Faculty of Science's higher education facility was expanded to include the already-existing faculties of Arts and Commerce.
