Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

My college days are unforgettable. I have learned a lot from my professors. Whenever I was wrong they corrected me. They were very supportive and encouraged us in all things to grow up in our life's. The infrastructure, faculty, canteen, library and all cultural facilities etc. are very good. college have good campus and game facility. College provides a great opportunity for the student to find their job.

I say VIT is the best place to learn and grow as they said. JIMS has an amazing campus which everyone will accept. it took years for the campus to get into the shape which we enjoy today. the infrastructure is super cool especially the TT( technology tower) is astonishing. Students can have anything they want everything is made available. One can say the money we spend here is worth it. Only thing what students hate is the gender rules that prevails. also girls are highly annoyed by the special rules they have. Jims is amazing but the rules sometimes annoy us . I can say JIMS is a very good university is all aspects
