About JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus, Greater Noida

JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus, Greater Noida was established in the year 1998. It is a co-ed, private college affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The institute was started with the vision of achieving academic excellence through curriculum upgradation, faculty development, quality research and innovative learning. The college offers 7 degrees and 11 courses for students to choose from. The college only caters to the undergraduate students but it does offer a lot of different fields and courses for the students to find their subjects of interest. The institute currently provides the following programmes- B.Tech in various specialisations, B.Ed, B.A LLB, BBA LLB, BJMC, BBA, BCA and B.Com (Hons). The programmes offered are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Before applying for any particular programme, a candidate must meet the eligibility. The admissions will be in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The institute has its own active placement cell that brings in internship and employment opportunities for its students. The institute offers its students a lot of facilities. These include hostel facilities, library, sports facilities, IT infrastructure, cafeteria, transport facility, labs and workshops, and a health centre.

Two major schemes for Meritorious and EWS Students are provided to Students on reimbursement basis:

EWS Scheme: The University provides financial assistance to the students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections of the Society. The purpose of the scheme is to enhance the accessibility of EWS students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Merit-cum-Means: This Scheme provides financial assistance to the meritorious students pursuing higher education in NCT of Delhi. Under this Scheme, the Delhi Higher Education Trust through the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) fully or partially reimburses the tuition fee paid by the students of the undergraduate programmes.

Apart from above two major schemes providing financial support to the students in the form of scholarship, the Directorate of Students Welfare is also processing various scholarships available on the NSP, National Scholarship Portal.
