KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (SIMSR) comes under Somaiya Vidyavihar University. SIMSR was established in 1981 and offers admissions for courses in PG and post-PG level. KJ Somaiya SIMSR facilities are made available to the students to make their learning experience smooth, effective and memorable. SIMSR provides separate hostel facilities to boys and girls and the hostels include amenities like internet, mess, laundromat, etc. Courts for various sports activities like badminton, squash, tennis, basketball and volleyball are available in KJ Somaiya SIMSR and apart from this an athletic track is also available for the students. KJ Somiya SIMSR has a well equipped gymnasium with all facilities. SIMSR facilities also include medical facilities like a dispensary, on call doctor and counsellor.

KJ Somaiya SIMSR Scholarships

KJ Somaiya SIMSR scholarships are available for the meritorious and needful students. The basic criteria for availing the SIMSR scholarships are minimum 60% marks in all academic records and family income of less than 3 lakhs per annum. Students of SIMSR can also avail Maharashtra Government Scholarships and Social Welfare Department Scholarships for Category Students. KJ Somaiya SIMSR scholarships on the basis of merit are three in total. These are Smt Sakarbai K Somaiya Scholarship, Smt Mayadevi S Somaiya Scholarship and Dhiren Savla Scholarship. Dhiren Savla Scholarship is only available for girl students. KJ Somaiya Placements

The Career Management and Corporate Relations Team is the name of the KJ Somaiya placement department. The placement department is responsible for organising the KJ Somaiya placement drive and making sure that maximum number of students are placed in reputed companies. The department provides training to the students to make their chances of getting placed better. Some of the training provided by the KJ Somaiya Placements department are - training food improving business communication skills, soft skills training and courses for aptitude tests, mock GDs and PIs. The department also collaborates with many companies and the KJ Somaiya placement schedule includes corporate engagement activities.
