if i score 550 in neet 2020 . can i get a mbbs seat in MGIMS . I belong to general category ?
MGIMS is the first Rural Medical College of Maharasthra. It is a Private Medical College. There are 3 types of seats in Private Medical Colleges. If you want a Government Quota seat or Category A seat, because you belong to General Category, you will need atleast 575. For Management quota or Category B seat, 500-550 will be enough. But then the Management quota fees is too high. Category C is NRI quota and not for Indian Citizens. This is all based on previous data but you know cut offs change every year and so you should aim for atleast 575 and more. R/Sir, Kindly say the possibility of getting a MBBS seat in MGIMS Wardha for a general category Odisha domicile score of 505.
Under All India Quota if you are from Odisha and want a seat in Maharashtra then frankly speaking at 505 marks it isn't possible at all. Even under 85% state quota, people with 505 marks haven't got any government MBBS college since this year Maharashtra state cutoff for government MBBS colleges has been 550+ this year. Kindly try for your own state medical colleges.
R/Sir, Kindly suggest the possibility of getting MBBS seat in MGIMS Wardha for Odisha domicile general category score of 505.
With a score of 505 marks, you have decent chances of admission in MGIMS Wardha.
The cut-off for this year has not been declared yet but if we consider the previous years' cut-off trends then we can get a rough idea of it.
Based on that I can tell you that the cut-off marks have remained around 500 marks and even gone below. And with the Odisha domicile, you have better chances of admission.
However, you rank will play a more important role in your admission.
Hope this helps.
