Factors determining the KIET Group of Institutions cut-off
Difficulty level: The difficulty level of UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination)is a crucial factor that affects the rank cut-off. Candidates are less likely to qualify the more difficult UPSEE set. Thus, fewer candidates acquire a high cut-off rank.
Number of students appearing in UPSEE 2020: On average around 150,000 candidates appear every year in UPSEE. They compete for getting admissions in 800 colleges affiliated with AKTU (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University). It becomes more competitive when the higher number of candidates choose KIET (Krishna Group of Institutions) Group of Institutions as their first preference in the counselling process.
Number of seats available in the college: If the ratio of available seats and candidates appearing in the UPSEE is crucial to predict the rank cut-off for the admission in the college.
Previous year’s cut-off trends: Previous year’s cut off trends give an idea for predicting the present year’s rank off.
