KIET School of Engineering, Ghaziabad (KIET Ghaziabad) Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a 'Boy’s Hostel' consisting of 5 hostels namely Chandragupt hostel, CVRaman hostel (both exclusive for First-Year Boys), Tagore Hostel, Aryabhatt hostel, and Vivekanand Hostel. All the hostels comprise an excellent style, well-ventilated, well-furnished, and hygienic apartments with ultra-modern amenities. All the hostel premises have common TV rooms and indoor and outdoor sports facilities for all the residents. We also provide an excellent modern gymnasium with a trainer. The entire hostel premises are Wi-Fi enabled. On a daily basis, renowned newspapers and magazines are provided for each and every hostel to keep the residents updated with current affairs. There are separate mess committees of students for each hostel to facilitate the mess menu as per the choices of each resident. We believe in a balanced nutritional diet for the overall growth of students for which special arrangements have been made in the mess menu on a weekly basis and high-quality food with high standards is served.

The college has girls Three hostels for girls namely Saraswati, Sarojini and Gargi exist within the campus with a 1000+ capacity. To take care of the overall well-being of our students, sessions on Yoga, Women's Health, Meditation, and Stress Management are organized, from time to time. Excellent hostel rooms (AC/non AC) are provided on a single, double, and triple basis with all modern facilities.

The college has a 24-hour medical OPD facility within the campus, running in collaboration with the ITS medical institute. A qualified senior doctor regularly visits the campus to cater to the medical needs of the patients. Two ambulances are always available at campus to exclusively serve the emergency needs of KIETians.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The Campus is endowed with a Central Library that is connected by 8 departmental libraries. It has more than 1.6 lac books on Engineering, Sciences, Humanities, Management, and Pharmacy with 10000 titles. The library has subscribed to more than 175 Periodicals (National & Foreign). The library also owns the subscription of e-journals i.e. IEEE/IEE, Science Direct-Engg. & EBSCO. The library is fully air-conditioned and has a separate multimedia section with internet connectivity for accessing e-journals & other sites of user interest. It is fully automated with Library Management System software under ERP. The library, at the campus, is an exclusive member of DELNET, IETE, IEI, CSI, ISTE, AIMA, CII, and others. The library has a separate facility of Book-Bank with 88000 books. The book bank issues the course books to the students for the entire semester. The institute is a proud member of NDL (National Digital Library), an initiative taken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). All databases of NDL can be accessed by the faculty, staff, and students

The college has sports facilities for all students

College Computer Training being an integral part of the modern educational process, the institute provides excellent and latest computer facilities for hands-on training. There are four computer labs as part of the central facilities, in addition to dedicated labs in all the departments. The lab consists of more than 1500 state-of-the-art, latest computer platforms with updated software. A set of dedicated servers have been deployed with a fully networked configuration based on the latest concepts of server computing. 24 x 7 hours 180 Mbps Internet Connectivity & W-Fi Facility is available throughout the campus.

The college has a fully air-conditioned double floored Cafeteria, with comfortable, ergonomics furniture with the capacity of around two hundred and fifty foodies is an essential vicinity at the campus. The hygienic and lip-smacking food is available at a nominal price for the students. Around six refreshment outlets like Nescafe, Amul, Mother Dairy, and others are stationed inside the campus to cater to the needs of students studying late at night.

The college envisions a holistic development of its students’ personalities through various curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities throughout the year. For the same, the campus houses a high-tech auditorium with the capacity of accommodating around six hundred audiences. Alongside the institute encompasses three more auditoriums viz. A-Block Conference Hall, MBA Conference Hall, and KSOP Auditorium with the capacity of three hundred, two hundred, and three hundred audiences respectively.

The college has Ten buses from various routes ply to and fro from the institute. Faculty and staff members along with day scholar students can avail of the facility of these buses from Delhi-NCR and Meerut. Other than these, three Buses run for off-campus hostellers from Duhai, Ghaziabad.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

An extension of PSB (Punjab Sind Bank) is situated just adjacent to the campus. ATM facility, at the gate of the institute, assists the students in managing their finances.

The college area caters to the daily requirements of the students. Students can purchase all products of need from the shop at GDS. All stationery items along with recharge facilities are available in this store. There is an STD Booth too.

The VIP fully furnished Guesthouses and few visitors’ or parents’ waiting rooms on the campus. Out stationed parents can avail of the facility of using these rooms after confirmation of their availability.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.
