KIAMS Harihar has a placement cell that is responsible for handling all matters related to placements and internships. Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies Harihar placement programmes includes a ‘Business Immersion Programme’. The programme carries a weightage of 6 credits and attempts to bridge the gap between the corporate world and the academic institution. Student Enhancement Plan (StEP) is an initiative of the institute and in this senior faculty members mentor students. The following areas are targetted by this initiative - business communication skills, interpersonal skills, public relations skills, emotional intelligence, etc. The 2018-19 batch has achieved a 97% placement record and the students were recruited to more than 14 industries. KIAMS Harihar placement cell also organises various workshops and seminars to provide training to the students.

• Pre-placement talks are conducted by the recruiters. 

• The companies have to confirm their participation by sending a letter to the KIAMS Harihar placement office.

• Companies provide the job description to the institute. 

• Resumes of interested students are sent to the companies and based on the resumes students are shortlisted. 

• The companies are not directly allowed to make job offers to the students. All job offers are channeled through the KIAMS Harihar placement office. If the student accepts the job offers then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the subsequent placement process.
