Amity University, Noida B.Tech Admissions 2024
ApplyAsia's Only University with the Highest US & UK Accreditation
there are hardly any colleges that award admission on the basis of diploma marks. it is advisable that you answer a national entrance and take admission, there is a scheme of lateral entry that allows you to directly join 2nd year but that is only possible if you are pursuing 1st year in engineering in that college
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have secured 67 percentile and 94 percentile approximately in MHTCET so let me tell you that it's a bit difficult to get cse branch but you can hope for the electrical and core branches like mechanical chemical production.

Hello,
NIE is definitely a great place to be learning at ,it has been one of the well-known technical institutes in the state. But BMSIT is doing pretty well itself even after being a relatively new college (16 years old) it has been accredited by NAAC and the CS department has an NBA accreditation as well.
You should go for BMSIT .
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Hello Bharat. You mentioned your percentile but didn't mention your case, Thus I assume you belong to General Category and I will try to give an answer based on that. Moreover, it would be better if you would have mentioned your CRL-AIR or Category Rank in the query as the results are already out.
As per our JEE Main 2021 Rank Predictor , your CRL-AIR may lie somewhere around 184089 - 206943 . However I recommend you to comment down your AIR or Category Rank in the comment box below, to get a more accurate prediction.
Anyway, based on your performance , you have low chance to get chance to grab a seat for Computer Engineering at KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Mumbai as well as at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, School of Technology.
In 2020, JEE Main Cutoff Rank prescribed for admission to Computer Engineering at KJSIET Mumbai was 49165 . This institute intakes applicants via Maharashtra CET Counselling
In 2019, JEE Main Cutoff Rank prescribed for admission to Computer Engineering at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, School of Technology was 1489. This institute intakes students via GUJCET Counselling.

Hi Nikita Singh !
KJ Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BTech programme is based on MHT CET (https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/mht-cet-exam) score, followed by MHT CET Counselling (https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/mht-cet-exam-counselling) , which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of MHT CET 2020 result (https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/mht-cet-exam-results) to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in two rounds of MHT CET Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GOPENS, LOPENS, MI and TFWS categories.
For B.tech in Computer science and Engineering, the expected cutoff by rank ranges from 8697 to 12233.
All the best and feel free to ask if you have any more queries !!
Both Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune and KJ Somaiya College of Engineering Vidyavihar are known to be very good colleges with good facilities and placement. They both have good syllabus and faculty for teaching. But the only thing is that Bharati Vidyapeeth is in pune and KJ Somaiya is in Vidhyavihar,Mumbai so in the end it depends on if you want to stay in mumbai or pune as both are equally good according to me.

The college infrastructure is top notch with all the necessary facilities ranging from high speed internet throughout the college premises, classrooms projectors, laboratories equipped with latest instruments etc. The campus also consists of a football ground, tennis court, basketball court, cricket ground, two hostels, amphitheatre, and a number of college canteens. The campus is always well maintained and is an ideal place for all round development.
To be honest, yes, the infrastructure is okayish.Don't worry,it's the second largest campus in Mumbai after IITB,with a huge sports complex. Most computers DO work, mouse and keyboard are fine in all of them;yes,PC versions are outdated, but not very bad. It's a clean and hygienic environment in the classes, labs as well as canteens, hostels too.WiFi works slow but fulfills requirements.Smart boards are often used.A concluding pt.-AC's aren't there in any classes/labs except a few;expect 'em in 3-4 yrs.
The college has a decent infrastructure and it has been improving on a regular basis. The labs are average and the equipment's can be improved a bit. Overall you even have decent grounds and it's a large campus which can be explored a lot.
