K S Hegde Medical Academy offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission to some courses will be done on the basis of the All India Entrance examination while for some courses admission will be on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The detailed admission process is given below:

For Undergraduate Courses (MBBS/B.Sc.):

• For MBBS, candidates should qualify National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
• Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of KSHEMA. 
• Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in an entrance examination, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
• For B.Sc., candidates should qualify 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the subjects. 
• Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of KSHEMA. 
• Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying examination, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

For Postgraduate Courses 

For MD/MS/M.Ch:

• Candidates should qualify National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG).
• Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of KSHEMA. 
• Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in an entrance examination, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

For MPH:

• Candidates should qualify a bachelor's examination in the relevant domain with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of KSHEMA. 
• Further, the candidates have to appear for a personal/skype interview.
• Final admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

For MHAHSM/M.Sc.:

• Candidates should qualify a bachelor's examination in the relevant domain with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of KSHEMA. 
• Final admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
