Lady Hardinge Medical College for Women (LHMC), New Delhi was founded in 1914 and was named in memory of Lady Hardinge who laid the foundation stone of the Institute. LHMC Delhi is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, Delhi and is recognised by the National Medical Commission of India.
Lady Hardinge Medical College Delhi offers UG, PG and doctoral courses in medical and nursing fields. The LHMC Delhi UG courses are MBBS and B.Sc Nursing. The PG courses are PGD, M.Sc, MS and MD in various subjects. The doctoral courses of Lady Hardinge Medical College are DM and M.Ch.
The fees for MBBS and B.Sc Nursing are Rs 6,100 and Rs 19,200 respectively. The PGD courses cover different specialisations of medicine like Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Ophthalmology, Radiodiagnosis, Anaesthesia and Child Health and others. The M.Sc courses cover Anatomy, Bacteriology, and Biochemistry.
The MD courses are offered in 14 disciplines namely Biochemistry, Psychiatry, Microbiology, Radiodiagnosis, Pathology, General Medicine and others. To get admitted to LHMC Delhi courses, candidates must take the entrance for the respective course they are interested in.
For undergraduate courses like MBBS and M.Sc, NEET UG scores are required. On the other hand, for postgraduate courses like M.Sc, PGD, MS, MD, and MDS, LHMC Delhi considers NEET PG/NEET MDS scores. For admission to super speciality courses, NEET SS scores are necessary for Lady Hardinge Medical College admission.

As per need college infrastructure and facilities are ok. Classrooms are fully air conditioned. Laboratories are good and equipments are also well available. Library, hostels,etc. are good but food facilities are little bit need to be improved.
LHMC is a nice college. It has all the necessary equipments and facilities. Our lecture theatres are well maintained and according to the latest technology. The best thing about the college is its auditorium.
On entering the campus one only sees a lot of buildings everywhere. They were built a very long time ago and has historical importance now. The main mata ki murti is the highlight of the campus. The living space is very clean and the mess food is very hygienic and tasty.
Yes, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi is only for girls and does not allow any other gender to take admission. It takes the students for it's flagship MBBS course through NEET examination, held once a year.
