Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram has a training and placement cell that organises campus placement for the final year students. Students are also provided training programmes on personality development and communication skills and help them prepare better for the recruitment process. Several recruiters are invited to the campus to conduct the LBRCE Mylavaram placement drive. The LBRCE Mylavaram placement cell also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on aptitude, quantitative ability, logical and reasoning to make students practise and get better before appearing for the final interview and written test.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram offers admissions to 10 undergraduate programmes that include B.Tech programmes in 10 specialisations. The course duration of the LBRCE Mylavaram B.Tech programme is 4 years. To be eligible for LBRCE Mylavaram B.Tech admission, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 45% marks in the science stream. 

LBRCE Mylavaram has a well-equipped library. The library has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The LBRCE Mylavaram library also subscribes to national print journals, magazines, e-journals and e-books. All departments have departmental libraries, which are supported by the Central Library. The library follows an open access system that allows users to browse freely in the stock area. In the Central Library, the institute has a digital library with 40 computers. It has a collection of e-journals and e-books like IEEE, ASCE, ASME, ELSEVIER, SPRINGER NATURE, DELNET and INFLIBNET N- list.
