LBRCE Mylavaram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram has hostel facilities for boys that can accommodate 300 students. The LBRCE Mylavaram boys’ hostel is equipped with all modern facilities including solar water heating systems for the convenience of hostellers. The hostel has a modern kitchen and dining hall, as well as a recreation area where students can watch television and read newspapers and magazines.

LBRCE Mylavaram has a comfortably designed and well-built girls' hostel on the campus. The LBRCE Mylavaram girls' hostel includes a mess, dining, recreation hall and other facilities. The hostel can accommodate about 300 students and has good mess facilities as well as amenities such as an STD booth and toiletries stores to meet the needs of hostellers. Solar water heating systems are installed throughout the hostel to ensure that students have access to hot water throughout the year. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, a separate hall is available for hostellers to watch television. Two buses are reserved especially for transporting students from the hostel to the campus.

LBRCE Mylavaram has a healthcare centre on the campus premises. The dispensary has one full-time medical officer and two part-time doctors as well as support staff. The dispensary contains a number of facilities, including an electronic blood pressure machine with a pulse reader, a silicone stand, frequently required medicines, dressing materials etc.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram provides gym facilities for both students on the campus. The gymnasium also provides a  trainer to guide the students.

LBRCE Mylavaram has a well-equipped library. The library has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The LBRCE Mylavaram library also subscribes to national print journals, magazines, e-journals and e-books. All departments have departmental libraries, which are supported by the Central Library. The library follows an open access system that allows users to browse freely in the stock area. In the Central Library, the institute has a digital library with 40 computers. It has a collection of e-journals and e-books like IEEE, ASCE, ASME, ELSEVIER, SPRINGER NATURE, DELNET and INFLIBNET N- List. Printing, Scanning & copying facilities are available in the library.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram has various indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students on the campus.  Indoor and outdoor sports like carrom, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, football, kabaddi, football, ball badminton, cricket nets, kho-kho, throwball, volleyball, badminton etc are available at the college.

LBRCE Mylavaram has a well-maintained IT infrastructure. The computer labs of the college are equipped with the latest computing facilities.

LBRCE Mylavaram has a cafeteria for boys, girls and staff. It can accommodate 200 boys and 200 girls, as well as 100 staff members. The cafeteria serves a variety of continental and Indian dishes. Cool water with Aqua Guards for drinking is available in the LBRCE Mylavaram cafeteria.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram has a well-maintained auditorium equipped with air-conditioners and audio-video systems. The LBRCE Mylavaram auditorium serves the purpose of seminars, meetings, national and international conferences, etc.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram provides bus facilities for students and staff members. The college runs bus services from Vijayawada to places like Tiruvuru, Madhira, Vissannapeta, Nuzvid, Gannavaram, and Nandigama at concessional rates. The institute runs 31 buses covering the above-said places.
