The MKCE Karur training and placement cell organises career skill development (CSD) which focuses on aptitude test skills, GD handling techniques, professional development and interview handling skills. The college has well-equipped infrastructure for the smooth conduction of M Kumarasamy College of Engineering placements such as testing halls, and conference halls for presentations. As per NIRF 2023, 648 UG students were placed out of 695 students with an MKCE Karur median salary package of Rs 4,01,000 and 49 PG  students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 3,75,000.
