Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) is a five-year full-time Integrated program in Law offered by Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack with the approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI).

The Course shall be called as Five years Integrated B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course. This course has been designed in accordance to the standards and regulations prescribed by the UGC and Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, 2008 from time to time.

NUMBER OF SEATS: The intake capacity for the B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Programme shall be 120.

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School Programme (10+2)/ or appearing in +2 or equivalent from a recognized University of India or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by the State Government, shall be eligible for entrance examination in to 5 Year B.A.LL.B. (Honours) Course.

The Candidate belonging to the general (Unreserved) category shall have to secure at least 45% of the total marks in aggregate and the candidates belonging to SC/ST category shall have to secure at least 40% of the total marks in aggregate for admission in to the course (original certificates along with photo copies to be submitted at the time of the counselling).

There shall be no relaxation of marks in minimum eligibility for admission. Such minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission.

Admission Details

The candidate seeking admission into 5- Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons) Degree Course shall apply in the prescribed form available on website of the university, www.mlu.ac.in. The copy of the filledin application form along with the application fee receipt of Rs. 700/- should be brought at the time of counselling/admission.

The process of applying the application form for entrance test along with requisite fee should be completed within the stipulated time period as mentioned in the advertisement/notification.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good. We have a state of the art library equipped with all the law books needed. Classrooms are great and are well equipped with air conditioners. We have separate reading rooms too. College is well equipped with wifi. We do not have any cafeteria in the campus but the campus is clean.

I am having a bad experience in this college.

College Infrastructure

Yes. Though the college has projectors, computers, library etc. but it's not in proper working conditions. There is no such WiFi in our college. The books and journals in library is about a decades old which is not replaced.
