Eligibility Criteria 

M.Phil Rural Economics 

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Or

There’s a relaxation of 5% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

M.Phil History and Culture 

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Or

There’s a relaxation of 5% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

MA Rural Economics 

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration ( BA or equivalent) under the 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.

MA Journalism and Mass Communication 

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration ( BA or equivalent) under the 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.

Ph.D Rural Economics 

Candidates who have cleared M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC- 7 point scale ( or an equivalent grade). There’s a relaxation of 5% marks in marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
