Batch of 2014 | BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
MIT is a good college in Pune. The faculty is nice and would encourage us to write research papers and push it in the international conferences which do not happen in many universities. Most of the students don't opt for placements because they prefer to study further as was the same in my case. The culture is really good in terms of extracurricular activities. They used to motivate us to participate in them as well as reimburse for the same. It was an extremely good learning experience overall.

Developer of Knowledge bank with Sanity mind

Batch of 2013 | BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
My college had developed peoples with vast knowledge as it had good faculty content and library database. it also developed a sanity mind in each and everyone's heart because it was having a spiritual connect with the upbringing of Saint Dnyaneshwara. The infrastructure of college was pretty nice as it had many connecting buildings and sufficiently big classrooms to accommodate around 70-80 students at one go. It also had big labs with all the necessary equipment so the student didn't face any difficulty to do any sort of practical or practice. But one problem was there , college didn't have any special facility for physically aided persons, those did not consider while building the department buildings. It even had a different variation in the stream such as Petrochemical, Petroleum engineering. College life was made enjoyable with different cultural and tech fest organized in the campus. College uses to have some summits which were organized at a grand level which had participation from all over India. College had big events like National Robotics, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, Sports Summits, etc event which needed participation at national level. Placement in the college was nice, even some companies sponsored for last year project through them, also brand ambassador was selected to represent from each company but still college didn't have an official Placecomm cell driven by the student which can give exposure to the student body to interact with the industry expert. The industry should have various induction program which can help students understand the importance of working in the various cultural difference. The student from various state and even countries were admitted in the college which was a good point as it gave rise to diversity and help student to understand each other perfectly. Yes student diversity gave an impact in students mind regarding respect to various cultural and religion. College didn't have any political body ruling the student body so it was not favoring any one religion. Hostel were pretty clean and well equipped. various location hostel gave a good exposure to the area of the city which help in interaction with various peoples in the city. Rectors and security guards were quite helpful to students and even parent at times. Faculty was also having good diversity, some of them were well trained and had being doing good research on their own field while some were fresher and doing Masters in the college along with the lecture-ship. Many master students were offer job after their masters in the college. Also in summers after grads before results some special skills students were allowed to conduct practical of junior batches under faculty guidance to give them a good experience. I had got good company during placement, the company was located in Bangalore. But it just had a small problem that the company had giving joining after 6 months. But college was giving me an offer of lecturer-ship till then. My overall college experience was pretty good and enjoyable.

College is good but the Pune university is a worst nightmare

Posted on 15 Feb' 16 by Rashmi Thakur
Batch of 2014 | BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
The Faculty, college Life, infrastructure and everything is up to the mark. The only drawback is Pune University's Paper Checkers. I could say that because I have faced it. It is so corrupted. I am a Year Drop Because of lack of a single mark where I could have easily got 4-5 marks. They keep you get rounds of their university to just resolve it but they would never do that.
