I came to MIT with very typical dreams of getting good grades doing extra curriculars etc stuff but when I actually stepped in mit I realised there's alot more inside for an outsider it just doesn't help you improve academically but it very well nutures your social your environmental your personal as well as your emotional responsibilities. I being a part of annual college magazine of mit learned how to interact exactly and how to go ahead taking each member along with you.. My contacts with seniors increased and they are still increasing... and trust me it's one of the best thing. Friends...here I have got some friends for life time. They have become such a integral part of my life that I can't imagine my college life without them. The best part of college is exams..trust me. I learnt most during exams I had most fun during exams I have done most creative things during exam periods only!! Thus I would say if u wanna just study top n get placed take MIT very seriously but if u want to have fun and explore yourself and learn things understand MIT
