The campus life is great.
It is a govt. aided engineering college and is one of the oldest college in Kerala. The Infrastructure is good .But in some workshops machineries are old kind. But the Electronics and computer science department have the latest ones. Living places are clean and college canteen is hygienic. Free wifi facilities are available for the students in the campus. Smart board facilities are also available.
Yes,the curriculum is regularly updated . The college is under the KTU university where all engineering colleges under KTU shares the same syllabus. The quality of teaching is good. Also the students could enjoy a good freedom in the campus
I would say the placement quality is average because there are only very few placements for civil and electronics engineering other than the IT fields . About the percentage of students placed is also average.
For the govt. seats the cost is less and affordable and the money is worth.A few seats are available in management kota but huge amount of money need to be paid for them since it is a reputed college. The infrastructure facilities, teaching staffs and all other facilities available in the campus is more worthier than the amount of fees paid.
The location is safe and eco friendly.Fire stations are available very near to the campus in case of any emergency. There is a lot of campus area and students enjoy great freedom in the campus. The campus life is great. Hostel facilities are also provided very near to the campus.

Academics wise perfect
Infrastructure wise one of the best in kerala. Each class room has got smart classes .Library is also well packed with all the books which help in our studies . College ground is also really beautiful .
Allmost all teachers are understandable. They tend to focus more on studies only no further knowledge is given by them this is only one thing that I don't like .Besides that academics wise college is best
Very active placement cell may one among the best in kerala . Almost 70 percent of students got placed last year . Average salary offered was around was 45,000per month. With top salary of 14 lakhs per annum

Does Mace have uniform?
Yes, students should adhere to the dress code prescribed by the Institution. Boys should wear pants and shirts; girls should wear a churidar set or pants and shirt. The appearance should be neat and decent. Low waist trousers, short tops, tight dresses, round neck and literature T-shirts, dhotis etc. are not permitted. In workshops and labs, the prescribed uniform is compulsory.
How many acres is Mace college kothamangalam?
MACE Kothamangalam was established in 1961 by Mar Athanasius College Association, aided by the Government of Kerala. The campus of the college spreads over an area of 66 acres of land. Mar Athanasius College of Engineering is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college was first affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and is now affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Is ece placement at MACE good ?
Hi,
MACE provides excellent placements in almost all the courses,ECE being one of them. They don't provide internships, the students themselves have to find them. But when it comes to placements,the highest salary package offered here is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA.
