Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
The admission of a candidate to First semester B-Tech is done through counselings based on his/her position in the corresponding merit list prepared by UPTU on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by SEE-UPTU every year. Has appeared in UPSEE and obtained any rank. Admission to Management Seats shall be made at the Institution level on the basis of merit in qualifying examinations.A candidate who has secured 50% marks in PCM for General and OBC category or 45% for SC/ST candidates in PCM is eligible for admission under management quota.
A candidate seeking admission in B-Tech (CSE/IT/ME/ECE/CIVIL) should have passed 10 + 2 (with PCM) Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent of an approved Board.
Lateral Entry: A candidate who has passed diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. has secured 50% marks for General and OBC category (45% for SC/ST candidates) from recognized institute/university is eligible for direct admission to B.Tech second year.
